いつも書いていますが、毎週、小さな花飾りのお供えを作ってお墓参りをします。それは私の楽しみです。それと同時に喜んでくださる人達がいます。霊園の管理事務所のスタッフが「中村さんの可愛いお飾りのしつらえをいつも楽しんでいます。霊園の見学者の方にも、これ可愛いでしょうってつい言うんですよ」と笑顔で話してくれます。自分が楽しむだけでなく喜んでくれる人がいる。聞こえない拍手が聞こえる。それは私にとっても幸せなことです。霊園への道すがら、茶色になった葉っぱと出会いました。なお味わいを見せてくれている。歳を重ねるのも悪くないと思いました。（美智子） As I always write, every week I make a small floral offering and visit the grave. 書道で京都弁で「溜まり水は腐るえ」と書きました。変わらない味という言葉には、他の人にはわからない深い意味があります。変わらないことを続ける、ということは、常に変えている、ということです。（美智子） In Japanese calligraphy, I wrote the words “Standing water rots” in Kyoto dialect.
