善行のご近所「蝉丸」の馬場さんが遊びに来ました。ご主人が作った煮物と焼き芋を持ってきてくださいました。私が作れないものです。「嬉しい！」。楽しいおしゃべりの午後でした。（美智子） My neighbor, Baba-san, came to visit. お世話になったヴァイオリン工房のことを11月25日に書きました。府中市の「ヴァイオリン工房ドンマイヤー」の鈴木健一さんです。永眠いたしましたと、昨日、奥様からのお葉書を受け取りました。 鈴木さんはストラディヴァリウスの音の秘密は「木」だけでなく「汁」にあるとおっしゃって研究して作っていました。「汁」とはつまり弦楽器に塗る物質のことです。確かな腕と誠実なお人柄の職人気質の素晴らしい方でした。天国でも好きなことを続けてください。楽しかった時間を忘れません。 鈴木さんの工房で２０１９年に撮った写真です。鈴木さんが作ったポシェットヴァイオリン、私のヴァイオリンと主人のヴァイオリンです。（鈴木健一さん、中村修三＆美智子）
