I like to watch the Nordic Ski Jump. There are three reasons for this: the technical skill, the beauty, and the flying through the air.

Things like precision in the timing of the take-off, good posture in the
air, and balance are essential. Also, the beauty of the form of kazuyoshi Fumaki, who represents Japan, as he flies through the air is truly wonderful to behold.

In addition, when the jumper flies a long distance, I get excited watching it! I don’t think there is another sport as exciting as this.

However, it’s unfortunate that it isn’t very popular in Japan. The World Cup of Soccer is televised, but the World Cup of ski jumping is not. I am looking forward to the day when it will become popular in Japan, too.

I like the sport of Nordic Ski Jumping very much. There are three reasons why I like Ski Jumping, including technique, beauty and flying through the air. Ski Jumping invloves detailed technique, such as taking off, the posture, balance and so on. Kazuyoshi Hunaki who represents Japan Ski Jumping, has beautiful posture when Ski Jumping. As a jumper flies longer and longer through the air, I become so excited! winter sports would not be interesting without Ski Jumping, which I’m most familiar with. I’m disappointed that Ski Jumping is not popular in Japan. Although, we can watch World Cup soccer on T.V, we seldom get to view World Cup Ski Jumping on T.V .I’m looking forward in spreading the popularity of Ski Jumping in Japan. Continue reading →
