雪のお話です。私の故郷は、サンディエゴ市の中心部にあるリンダビスタです。ここには、雪は降りません。しかし、車で、２時間ほど行ったところにある、ロサンゼルスでは、遠くの山の上に、雪を見ることができます。私は、１５才の時、初めて雪を見ました。ロサンゼルスから、２時間ほどドライブし、サンバーナーディーノ山の山頂まで行った時のことです。山頂には、ホテルやレストランがありました。私は、山頂で、スノーボードをしました。ところで、ここには、「黄色い雪は食べるな」という標識があります。ここの人も、皆が、黄色い雪は食べるなと言います。半分、ジョークです。鹿や人間、そして、犬のおしっこのあとが、色々なところにあります。注意が必要です。
