彫刻家向山武志さんの友人、河村喜史さんの作陶展を見るために、 向山さんと一緒に、日本橋高島屋の美術画廊へ行ってきました。 深く品のある大胆さがあり、また、日常のさり気ない温かさもあり、 ひとつひとつの作品が語りかけてくるようでした。 We went to Tokyo to see Kawamura Kihumi-san’s solo exhibition. I felt elegance and deep boldness from his works. Nihonbashi, Tokyo

二宮尊徳の足跡をたどるため、日光市今市を訪ねました。 報徳二宮神社では、武内宮司のご子息さまが、 丁寧に、ひとつひとつ、説明してくださいました。 お墓を作るなと言う遺言に従って、盛られた土の下に、 立った状態で、二宮尊徳は埋葬されているそうです。 二宮尊徳記念館でもいろいろな展示物を見ました。 We went to Imaichi, Nikko-city to visit Hotoku Ninomiya Shrine in order to follow the footsteps of Ninomiya Kinjiro Sontoku (1787-1856).
