日本では復活祭の催し事に出会いませんが、今日はイースターサンデーです。この写真は１９９９年今ごろのものです。当時、機会があれば、オアフ島ホノルルからハワイ島コナへ、室内管弦楽団での仕事で呼んでもらいました。楽しい思い出です。今ごろのハワイはこの写真のように緑に覆われていることでしょう。（ヴァイオリンを弾く遊民　美智子）

This is me in Hawaii 27 years ago. Although I don’t see any Easter celebrations in Japan, today is Easter Sunday. This photo is from around this time in 1999. Back then, whenever I had the opportunity, I was invited to work with a chamber orchestra in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, from Honolulu on Oahu. It’s a fond memory. Hawaii is probably covered in greenery like in this picture right now. (Michiko)
