winter is coming

北の風冬が近づく花だより

きた の かぜ　ふゆ が ちかづく　はなだより

Winter has arrived in Hawaii! The winds have changed from North East to North and with the changing winds there are some really nice changes such as certain flowers blooming and the ocean on the South shore is very calm and I also eagerly await the coming of the whales that also signifies that the winter season is here. For the surfers the North and West shore provides excellent surfing. Also with the nightly winter rains everything will be a beautiful green.

私の一番好きなハワイの季節は冬です。いよいよ冬の訪れです。風向きが北東から北へ変わり、特別なお花が咲き始めるなど、素敵な変化があります。南の方面の海の状態はとても穏やかです。鯨もそろそろ現れます。それは凄く楽しみです。鯨が現れる時は本当に冬が来た印です。サーフィンが好きな人達にとって、北と西の方面の海岸は、最高のサーフィン体験ができる場所です。また、冬の夜の雨のおかげで、全ての景色は綺麗な緑になります。
