今朝、パソコンでYouTubeを開けて最初に目に留まったマウリツィオ・ポリーニの演奏。ベートーベンのピアノコンチェルト皇帝。２０２４年に８２歳に亡くなっていますので、８０歳前後の晩年、内面から詩情感あふれる躍動あるこの演奏を聴いて観ることが出来て嬉しいです。最後の日本公演は２０１４年だそうです。（今日も良い一日　美智子）

This morning, when I opened YouTube on my computer, the first thing that caught my eye was a performance by Maurizio Pollini: Beethoven’s Emperor Piano Concerto. He passed away in 2024 at the age of 82, so I’m delighted to have been able to hear and watch this dynamic performance, full of inner poetry, in his later years, around the age of 80. His final performance in Japan was apparently in 2014. (Another good day, Michiko)
