another happy birthday

to my dear wife

またひとつ妻を祝える誕生日

またひとつ　つまをいわえる　たんじょうび

My wife recently celebrated her 70th Birthday! I first met her when she was 30 years old and now 40 years have flown by! We are amazed on how the years have passed so quickly! It seems like yesterday that we first met! We were very fortunate all these years and were able to celebrate by going to our favorite Sushi restaurant and joking about how the next 40 years will go by even faster!

私の妻は７０歳になりました。妻が３０歳の時に出会って瞬く間に４０年が過ぎました。あっという間に年月が経ち驚いています。私達は昨日初めて出会ったような気持ちです。４０年間私達は本当に幸せでした。今年も一番好きなお寿司屋さんへ行ってお祝いをすることができました。次の４０年はどの位早く過ぎていくのだろうと冗談を言いました。
