ハワイ時間７月２９日カムチャッカ半島沖地震の影響で津波警報が出ました。ジムさんはその時の事をハイクポエムにしました。船をワイキキ沖へ移動する時にジムさんが船上から撮影。ナコスファミリーのジム ウッドハルさんの報告です。シグナルで話しながらハイクポエムを作っています。（編集長 美智子）

sirens rip the sky

waves crash in the darkness

beckoning harbor

港出る警報わめく津波かな

みなとでる　けいほう わめく　つなみかな

On Tuesday July 29^th there was a tsunami warning for Hawaii. About 3:00 in the afternoon the alarms went off and when that happens all of the boats must leave the harbor and go about 5 miles off shore and wait for the all clear before going back to the harbor. I left the harbor around 4:00 and it was very rough and windy when I made it out to the 5 mile point. When the sun set it was very dark and there were many boats without lights or with very little lights so it was very stressful at times. Since it was dark I could never see where the waves were coming from. I finally returned to the harbor at 11:30 in the evening.

７月２９日、火曜日、ハワイに津波警報が出ました。午後３時ごろ警報が鳴り、その時、全部の船は港を出なくてはなりません。船を岸から約８キロメートル沖合へ移動して、警報解除を待ってから港に戻らなければなりませんでした。私は午後４時頃に港を出ました。約８キロ沖合まで来た時は風が強く波も荒れていました。日が沈み空が真っ暗になると、電気のない船や僅かな灯りの船が多かったので、非常にストレスを感じることもありました。真っ暗ですから波がどこから来ているのか全く見えませんでした。ようやく夜の１１時半に港に戻りました。
