市庁舎にホリデーライト笑い声

しちょうしゃに　ホリデーライト　わらいごえ

2024 was the 40th anniversary of the Honolulu Lights. The lights and exhibitions are put up after Thanksgiving and they are all lit up during the first week of December and are taken down the second week of January. Since it was the 40th Anniversary there was a much bigger display of lights. About 50% more than usual. There was even a miniature train that took people through the lights and exhibits for free! I hope it will be the same in 2025!

２０２４年はホノルル・シティ・ライツの４０周年記念でした。ダウンタウンの市庁舎前には、１１月の感謝祭のあと飾り付けが始まり、１２月初めにクリスマス イルミネーションの点灯式が行われ、１月中旬に展示物を降ろすまで人々は楽しみました。４０周年記念ということで例年よりイルミネーションが５割ほど増えていました。展示物を無料で巡るミニチュア列車もありました！２０２５年も同様の催しになると良いですね。
