善行のご近所「蝉丸」の馬場さんが遊びに来ました。ご主人が作った煮物と焼き芋を持ってきてくださいました。私が作れないものです。「嬉しい！」。楽しいおしゃべりの午後でした。（美智子） My neighbor, Baba-san, came to visit. She brought some boiled food and baked sweet potato that her husband had made. These are things I can’t make. “I’m happy!” It was a fun afternoon of chatting. (Michiko) ナコス湘南

お世話になったヴァイオリン工房のことを11月25日に書きました。府中市の「ヴァイオリン工房ドンマイヤー」の鈴木健一さんです。永眠いたしましたと、昨日、奥様からのお葉書を受け取りました。 鈴木さんはストラディヴァリウスの音の秘密は「木」だけでなく「汁」にあるとおっしゃって研究して作っていました。「汁」とはつまり弦楽器に塗る物質のことです。確かな腕と誠実なお人柄の職人気質の素晴らしい方でした。天国でも好きなことを続けてください。楽しかった時間を忘れません。 鈴木さんの工房で２０１９年に撮った写真です。鈴木さんが作ったポシェットヴァイオリン、私のヴァイオリンと主人のヴァイオリンです。（鈴木健一さん、中村修三＆美智子）

白内障手術で視力が改善しました。このメガネフレームも数年間使っていましたが、気に入っているので度なしサングラスに直しました。購入もお直しも善行のご近所「メガネメイト」さん。（美智子） Something old and new. My eyesight improved after cataract surgery. I had been using these frames for a few years, but I like them so I changed them to non-prescription sunglasses. (Michiko) ナコス湘南

２０２２年から２０２４年まで私が作ったミニ刺繍たちです。悲しくなった時にひとつひとつ作りました。そしてだんだん楽しい気持ちになりました。何か好きなことを創造する時、喜びも生まれます。（中村美智子　２０２４年１２月） This is my embroidery wall. I started making them in 2022.
