3月に両目の白内障手術を受けました。視力回復。手術をしてからそれまでは見えていなかったことを実感。眼内レンズは中間距離を入れて楽譜もパソコンもよく見えます。このメガネフレームは以前使っていたものでツルは取りました。駅などで少し離れた文字をちょっと確認する為のレンズを作りました。もうメガネをかけたくありません。今は目も鼻も耳も喜んでいます。プラス、目の周りの筋肉を使うようになって眼筋トレのせいか、目が少しずつ大きくなって、シワが減ってきたような、そんな気がする。。。（美智子）

I had cataract surgery on both eyes in March. My eyesight has been restored. Since the surgery, I’ve realized that I couldn’t see things before. I have an intermediate-distance intraocular lens, so I can see music scores and computers clearly. This is my old eyeglass frame. I’ve had the temples removed. I got lenses made so that I can quickly see letters at a distance, such as at the station. I don’t want to wear glasses anymore. My eyes, nose, and ears are all happy now. Plus, I’ve started using the muscles around my eyes, so maybe it’s because of the eye muscle training, but I feel like my eyes are getting bigger little by little, and the wrinkles are decreasing… (Michiko)
