酷暑の夏。出来るだけ外出を控えていました。おうちリゾートとはいえ、自主トレ、つまり股関節の疼痛を軽減する目的でゆるい筋トレにも励みました。普段食べない野菜も調理しました。昨日、整形外科医と理学療法士さんに「自主トレで痛み軽減」の報告。喜びを分かち合いました。今日、内科医の石川さんに何でも報告。体重も血圧も褒められました。何らかの理由でアレルギー症状が出たのは残念。普段食べ慣れないものは止めておいた方が良いというアドバイスに納得しました。(美智子)
During the the hot days, I tried to avoid going out as much as possible. When I was at home, I did some gentle muscle training every day. I also tried cooking some vegetables that I don’t usually eat. Yesterday, I reported to my orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist that “self-training has reduced the pain,” and they were happy to hear that. Today, I reported everything to my family physician, Ishikawa-san. He praised me for my weight and blood pressure. One thing, my allergy symptoms appeared for some reason this summer. I agreed with his advice that I’d better to avoid foods that I’m not used to eating. (Michiko)
