何もないゆっくり植えた妻の庭

なにも ない　ゆっくり うえた　つま の にわ

My wife and I have been living in our current apartment for a bout 6 years. When we first moved in we had a driveway with two parking spots for cars and a fairly wide aisle to our side door and a small backyard. It was completely empty of any plants and over the next 6 years my wife has been very slowly raising plants, vegetables and even a banana and papaya tree! Now it is a very lush garden. Since we only have one car half of the driveway is now a garden. The landlord has not been here since we moved in so I wonder what he will think?

妻と私は現在のアパートに約６年間住んでいます。私達が初めてここに引っ越してきた時、車二台分の駐車スペースと、勝手口までのかなり広い通路と、小さな裏庭がありました。そこには植物は何もありませんでした。その後６年の間に、妻は少しずつ植物や野菜、さらにバナナの木とパパイアの木も植えました。現在は青々とした庭になりました。車は一台だけですから駐車スペースの半分は庭になりました。私達が引っ越してきてから大家さんはここに来ていないので、この庭を見たらどう思うでしょうか。
