いつも書いていますが、毎週、小さな花飾りのお供えを作ってお墓参りをします。それは私の楽しみです。それと同時に喜んでくださる人達がいます。霊園の管理事務所のスタッフが「中村さんの可愛いお飾りのしつらえをいつも楽しんでいます。霊園の見学者の方にも、これ可愛いでしょうってつい言うんですよ」と笑顔で話してくれます。自分が楽しむだけでなく喜んでくれる人がいる。聞こえない拍手が聞こえる。それは私にとっても幸せなことです。霊園への道すがら、茶色になった葉っぱと出会いました。なお味わいを見せてくれている。歳を重ねるのも悪くないと思いました。（美智子）

As I always write, every week I make a small floral offering and visit the grave. That is what I’m looking forward to. At the same time, there are people who are happy about it. The staff members at the cemetery’s management office tell me with the smile face, “We always enjoy Nakamura-san’s cute decorations. And we tell visitors to the cemetery that this offering is so cute.” Not only do I enjoy it, but there are people who are happy in places. I can hear the applause that I can’t hear. That makes me happy too. On the way to the cemetery, I came across some brown leaves. It still shows its flavor. Getting older isn’t bad either, I thought. (Michiko)
