藤沢駅でサムさんと待ち合わせて、北の方に歩いて行きました。
今日の目的地は、米国人建築家モーガン邸宅跡地です。
モーガン夫妻は、１９３１年から藤沢市に住んでいました。
死後、不幸にも約１０年前、放火され全焼してしまいました。
現在は、佐野さん後藤さん達、藤沢市の芸術家、有志によって、
モーガン邸保存の意味を込めて、作品の展示をし続けています。
藤沢市郊外のモーガン邸庭園での作品を楽しんできました。
帰りに蔵まえギャラリーで、猫ちゃんと記念撮影もしました。
We met Sam-san at Fujisawa station as usual. And we walked toward the north direction today. Our destination was the Morgan house. An American architect Mr. Morgan and his wife who were Japanese lived in this house since 1931. After they passed away, nobody lived there. About 10 years ago, unfortunately, the house was burned on fire that was suspected case of arson. So, some of artists in Fujisawa-city are exhibiting their arts in memory of Mr. & Mrs. Morgan. We enjoyed to spend time in this special place today.
