summer has arrived

咲き誇る薔薇に蜜蜂夏の庭
さきほこる　バラ に ミツバチ　なつ の にわ

It is summer time in Australia. This is because Australia is in the southern hemisphere, so our seasons are opposite Japan. The beach is crowed its summer time in Sydney. And my garden has come alive with beautiful roses and flowers as I look out my window I marvel at the gifts that the summer seasons bears in my garden and all around.

今、オーストラリアは夏です。オーストラリアは南半球にありますから、季節は日本とは反対になります。シドニーは夏ですので、海は人で賑わっています。また、家の窓から外を眺めると、庭の薔薇や花々が咲き誇っているのが見えます。夏の季節が、庭や辺り一面に運んで来る贈り物を、私は驚きをもって眺めています。

シドニーと日本は日付けが同じです。
レベッカさんとスカイプでお話しをする時、
同じ日ですが、今、日本は冬、シドニーは夏。
