grand river flows
strong bridge above stands
fell once before

壮大な川に崩落跨川橋
そうだいな　かわ に ほうらく　こせんきょう

The Mississippi River flows through Minneapolis. There is a bridge that crosses the majestic river. The bridge is long and wide and looks strong. It seems impossible that only a few years ago the same bridge fell into the river below. I hope it was totally fixed!

ミシシッピ川は、ミネソタ州で一番大きな町ミネアポリスの中を流れています。この壮大なミシシッピ川には、大きな橋が架かっています。橋は、長くて、広くて、頑丈そうに見えます。ほんの数年前、この橋が川に崩落したなんて信じられません。橋が完全に修理されたことを願います。
