絶景やハワイは我が家光る海
ぜっけい や　ハワイ は わがや　ひかる うみ

I think that everyday, no matter how the weather is I am so blessed to live in such a wonderful place. For me the weather is perfect and since it is a small island I am always close to the beautiful ocean and also the beautiful mountains. I am so happy to live here that I am always homesick when I leave the islands. Even if it is only for a day!

　私は、ハワイのような素晴らしいところに住むことが出来て、本当に恵まれていると思っています。どんなに天気の悪い日でも、そのように思います。私にとって、ハワイの気候は申し分ないものです。また、私の住むオアフ島は小さな島ですから、美しい海と美しい山を、いつでも間近に見ることが出来ます。私は、たった一日でもハワイを離れると、すぐ、ホームシックになります。私は、ハワイの住人であることに、心から満足しています。
