at first a shadow
slowly a figure appears
at peace and happy



海底に船の影あり魚遊ぶ

かいてい に　ふね の かげ あり　うお あそぶ




When going down the descent line, at first I only see a shadow but soon the huge ship stares at me from the bottom. Once it was a ship of war but now it is a very gentle home to many different kinds of fish, turtles and divers. I get the feeling from the ship that it is happy in its final stage.

水中深く潜って行くと、最初、黒っぽい影が現れます。それからすぐに、海の底から私を見つめる巨大な船が見えてきます。人工漁礁を作る為に、昔の海軍の船を沈めたものです。かつて、それは軍艦でした。しかし今では、さまざまな種類の魚や亀の穏やかな住処となり、また、ダイバーの為に、素敵な環境を提供しています。私は、潜る時、そのことを思うと、幸せな気持ちになります。
