Last Sunday I went on a hike with some friends. We climbed the hills of Lanikai and followed the trail to the old army buildings that are still there. We found two of them. They were built to protect Hawaii from possible attack a long time ago. They are uninhabited now. Today they almost look like works of art since people have painted them with different designs. Although the hills were steep and the hike was tough the views from the top were fabulous.
