One year ago I quit my job at the bank to work for the State of Hawaii, Department of Health. Many people want a state government job because they think it will be easy. However, this job is not easy. There is always a mountain of paperwork, most of which are filled out incorrectly, and many inefficient processes to deal with. Because there isn’t enough time to fully understand an issue, we go around in a circles doing the same thing over and over…..and over. The job is very stressful and I go home feeling exhausted everyday. Sadly, working for the Department of Health hasn’t been good for my health. Its time to find a new job.
