While diving off of Ala Moana park, in an area called Magic Island, I was checking my customer when I was surprised to see the biggest Manta Ray in my life following him! I quickly signaled him to look behind him. The Manta stayed with us for about 10 minutes. The next day while diving there, we saw even a bigger one! The day before was probably the female and the next day was the male.


　アラモアナ公園にあるマジックアイランドと呼ばれる所で、ダイビングを教えていた時のことです。海の中で、お客様が私に付いて来ているか確認をする為に、私は後ろを振り返りました。すると、お客様の後ろに、それまで見たことのないくらい大きなマンタが泳いでいました。驚きました！私は、すぐさま、お客様に、後ろを見るようにという手信号を送りました。マンタは、約１０分間、私達と行動を共にしました。翌日、再び同じ場所でダイビングをした時、私達は更に大きなマンタを見ました。前の日に見たマンタは、恐らくメスで、次の日に見たマンタは、オスだと思います。
