Glider

I went to college in Colorado at the University of Colorado. My major was engineering. However, I really enjoyed flying gliders. Gliders are airplanes that are light and do not have engines. In fact, another airplane has to tow the glider into the air. This is done by using a rope to connect the two aircraft. The two planes take off and climb together. Once in the air, the glider releases the rope and continues on its own. Without an engine, the glider doesn’t go very far. Usually, you land at the same place that you took off.
