Settling into Sydney & Mothers Day

With the end of this month celebrating my 6th month of being back living in Sydney, I can finally say I feel settled and steady in Sydney in a nice solid routine. The other day I took my Bali who is now 5, in his first year of school, to Darling Harbor for Mothers Day. We had a lovely trip on the train together, arriving at Central Station within the hour. From Central Station we meandered through Sydney’s China Town and checked out the different shops full of exotic imports. We next took the tram over the bridge and arrived at Darling Harbor which has one of Sydney’s largest playgrounds for kids. So Bali spent the next little while adventuring around the various toys and games and worked up a great appetite. From there we walked around the beautiful harbor and selected a Malaysian restaurant. We ate to our hearts content and Bali had a chocolate spider drink in celebration of Mothers Day. We were truly exhausted by the time we got home but very happy to have had such a lovely evening together for the special celebration day.
