On the mainland, the winter is filled with snow. However, across the ocean, the snow cannot reach Hawaii. Although waves may flow west from the mainland to Hawaii, the snow cannot reach here. In fact, the warmth of Hawaii’s volcanoes will always melt the snow, so it cannot appear here.





降雪や海の彼方の雪はどこ

こうせつ や　うみ の かなた の　ゆき は どこ



　米本土では、この冬、雪で溢れていました。しかし、雪は、海を渡ってハワイに辿り着くことはできません。波は、米本土からハワイまで西へ移動するのに、雪は、ここハワイまで到達することが出来ません。実は、ハワイの火山がかなり熱いので、雪はいつも溶けて、姿を現すことは出来ません。
