The small and gentle waves make Waikiki a perfect place to learn how to surf. But it can be dangerous as well.  The water is crowded, shallow, and the ground, covered in rocks. So be sure to follow these 5 tips while riding your longboard in Waikiki:

• Watch out for the outrigger canoes.
• Don’t jump off your board because you might cut feet.
• Don’t dive off your board because you might bump your head.
