落ち葉掻きは春にも (Raking leaves in Spring)

樫の木は空をめざしてまっすぐに成長する事から見分けがつきます。この幹の形状の他にも、樫の木は秋に葉の色が茶色に変わるのは変わるのですが落葉せず、葉をつけたまま冬を越す事からも見分けがつきます。それでは樫の木は何時落葉するかと言えば春先。お隣の庭に立つ立派な樫の木は今落葉の真っ盛り。すでに庭の廃棄物用紙袋6個いっぱいに葉をかき集めましたが、落葉が完了するのは少なくともあと一週間はかかりそうです。落ち葉掻きをしている姿は先日の雪かきの姿と全く同じ!

    You look like you’re having too much fun doing that. 🙂 I grew up in missouri for a small part of my life. I do not miss that at all. Looks like you’re neighbors don’t like to do them either. 🙂 hold on warmer seasons are coming. 🙂

    That’s what my husband and I were talking this morning, i. e. a warmer season. It’s here! We probably had so-called Spring for a week at the longest. My husky-mix dog is not happy at all for the short winter we had.
