Today was the last day for the D.C. cherry blossom festival. The parade and most other festivities were yesterday. Today they had a band play a couple of songs, but most of the day was dedicated to kite flying activities. There were many families with children flying kites. We got to see the cherry blossom or what was left of them. Most of the flowers had fallen but we were able to capture a few beauties on film. Cherry blossoms are so pretty.
