The other weekend we went camping at Volcano National Park. It is a uniquely beautiful and interesting place with a variety of climates all within in the same park. We chose the desert environment where by for as far as the eye could see were rocky terrain that truely resembled an actual desert. After camping in the desert overnight it was very interesting to go to experience the tropical rainforest walks around the volcano only 10 minutes drive away.
