Getting ready for my Trip to Japan

Tomorrow, on Christmas day I will be leaving for Japan. I am really looking forward to doing onsens and snowboarding! This will be my first time snowboarding – I wonder if its the same as surfing? I am also going to be a little nervous because I will be meeting a lot of my girlfriend’s family and friends. Their English is not so good so I have to be able to speak to them in Japanese. 参ったなあ!
