My Popo gave me a Chinese name that means "beautiful eyebrows," which is sort of funny, since my eyebrows are weirdly sparse and have a funny pointy shape.  But last night my sister was having fun with her tweezers and clippers, and she fixed them up for me!

I’m suuuper lucky that my sister knew what to do — girls with eyebrows like mine have to be careful when they go to salons, because sometimes those cosmetologists just throw up their hands, wax our eyebrows off completely, and tell us to draw them back in.  😀

ライミとライム、私と妹の中国語の名前です。どちらがどちらか忘れました。

祖母は「美しい眉毛」というの中国語の名前を付けてくれました。しかし、私の眉毛は、変なまばらな山型をしているので、その名前はちょっとおかしいです。

昨夜、妹は、毛抜きと眉毛ばさみを使って、ちょっと遊び気分で、私の眉を整えてくれました。意外にも、妹は眉毛の調え方を知っていたのでラッキーでした。私のような眉の女性は、ビューティーサロンへ行った時、気をつけた方がいいです。時々、美容師さんは私のような変わった眉毛をどうすればよいかわからなくて、ワックスか毛抜きで眉毛を全部抜いて、眉を描きなさいと言うのです。これは実際に妹の友人が美容師さんにされたことです。恐ろしいですね！
