彼のお祖母さんはイースターの夕食のために彼の家族と私を誘いました。お祖母さんはお祖母さんがしちめんちょうを好まないのに、とろろいもとスターフィングとしちめんちょうを調理しました。やさしいですね！私達が来る前に、お祖母さんは寿司を食べました。：D

My boyfriend’s grandma invited us over for Easter dinner on Sunday.  She’s so sweet — she made yams, stuffing, and turkey, even though she doesn’t like turkey.  😀  She ate sushi before we came over.

As in my first post I mentioned I’m a terrible writter.  Though I’ve been immersed in English for 27 years I haven’t yet grasped it well enough to use it as an effective means for communication.  Because of this quandary I’ve been reluctant to post here at regular intervals.  But then after some thought I’ve come to realize no one will probably read this anyway, so it’s really all the same if I wrote a masterpiece or just wrote three pages of "Nate Rocks".  Actually I’m not really doing this of my on accord.  I’m doing this because Michiko ordered me to do it and being that I’ve been in the military for the last seven years I’m not one to argue with orders.  Anyways cya tomorrow…or more likely the day after that. God is doing many amazing things here on Maui with young musicians.  We started the first Maui Youth Philharmonic Orchestra in October 2005.  This is history for Maui and the state of Hawaii as there has never been a Youth Orchestra beyond Honolulu.  Our first concert will be on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Baldwin High School Auditorium. 

Also, The Kamehameha Schools Maui Orchestra (the only strings program in the County of Maui) was accepted to perform in Carnegie Hall in New York…June 2, 2007.  This is a wonderful blessing for us, truly a gift from God. The students and parents are excited so we will have a busy year ahead.

Personally, I’m busy, busy, busy.  I’m still trying my best to commute to perform with the Honolulu Symphony.  We just did a concert with violinist Chee Yun yesterday.  I love her sound.  More concerts coming up this week and next.
