In a nagaya, there were no locks on the sliding doors, and any number of families could live there. They could get a sense of the lifestyles of their neighbors from the sounds of coughing, laughter, breakfast, or dinner. Also, along with that, they would live together at times sharing in their joys and sadness. Here too, in the NACOS Nagaya, those of us learning English, those of us learning Japanese, as well as the project staff who believe in what we are doing and help with our endeavors support each other while living together. I would like for us to create a communication network in which we can share all the colors of our hears with our neighbors.



新ナコス長屋へようこそ

長屋では、心の引き戸に鍵することなく、いくつもの所帯が暮らします。隣家の咳の音、笑い声、あさげ、ゆうげの匂いから、生活の動きを察知することができます。そして共に、喜びや悲しみを、時には、いろいろなものを分かち合って暮らします。

ここ、「ナコス長屋」でも、英語を学ぶ皆さん、日本語を学ぶ皆さん、又、ナコスを信頼し、研修のお手伝いをして下さるプロジェクトスタッフの皆さんが、互いに支え合いながら暮らしています。隣家の住人と心のいろどりまで伝え合える 「コミュニケーション・ネットワーク」 を創造していって頂きます。
