明日から山口市の耳鼻科で実習が始まる。
昨日より宿泊先のレオパ○スに入り、荷物の整理などを行う。。

去年の先輩から厳しいところだと聞いているので、
今からとっても緊張・・・！！

    After celebrating my twenty third birthday in Washington State, I felt a change in awareness about myself. It was the first time i had returned to Washington in three years and only the second time i had been there in the past five years. What i realized was some of the habits I had unconsciously developed from my family. One of the most prominent habits was my spending. For the past three years I have been spending excess amounts of money, just as my family does, yet i lack the income they have. I have never balanced my budget or bought things on sale. I have always bought things new and at top dollar, just like my family. Yes, my family budgeted their finances when they were younger, yet I never really understood this process.  Are you well? In the summer here, the clear, pleasant days are becoming fewer and, around this time, it feels like summer has returned. During the day, sweat pours.

Speaking of dolphins, the grateful dolphin has become the topic of conversation. A fisherman removed a net that had become entangled in a dolphin’s tail, and the dolphin came to love people and always came around boats, returning as if to say thanks. However, it was hit by the harpoon of some heartless person and was discovered by a diver, swimming around with the harpoon still left in. After being rescued by the diver and having the dart removed, the dolphin is recovering. It seems they can understand our hearts just like dogs, huh? This year, I might not be able to go to Hawaii, but it is probably my favorite place. Take care. Continue reading →

よくカキコしてくれる、同じ大学のえぐっちから
実家みやげで本人手摘みのピオーネをいただいた。

ピオーネって何？と思って包みを開けてみると
巨峰だった。

うーんはじめて知ったピオーネの名前。
そして種がなく甘くってうまかった。
種なしだからピオーネっていうのかな。

実習で山口県まで行くために、バイクで行こうと考えていたので、
メンテもかねて近くのバイクやに点検をお願いした。

■2003/09/15 (月)

今日はinuZ氏とそのフィアンセがやってくるということで、
せっかくなのでバイクに乗ってしまなみ海道を横断することに。

朝早くから2人に尾道まで来ていただき、
朝9時に向島でレンタルバイクを借り、いざ出発！

瀬戸田の平山郁夫美術館を見学、
多々羅大橋の「鳴き龍」で建築工学の思わぬ産物を拝聴、
超あっさりの伯方の塩ラーメンを食し、
一気に最大の来島海峡大橋へ。

今治に上陸したものの、時間がないのでとんぼ返り。
これでしまなみ海道をチャリに引き続き2回制覇！！
しかし1日で焼けたー！！

■2003/08/31 (日)

最近、IEのクラッシュでパソコンのシステムが崩壊しかけていたので
インターネットに接続できませんでした。
そのため日記更新が２週間もあいてしまい反省。。

データをバックアップしてからパソコンをすべて初期化して
再びプリンタやデジカメなどのドライバのインストールしなおし
など大掛かりなリペア作業をしておりました。

今日で約９割のリペアを終了し、パソの完全復活まであとすこし！！

かばんを探しに三宮でうろうろしてから、帰途へ。

途中姫路から乗った新幹線も混む方向が逆なので、
それなりに空いていて快適だった。

やはり疲れがたまっているようで早めに就寝。

■2003/08/14 (木)

昼飯にラーメン専門「鷹」で今回最後の鹿児島ラーメンを食す。
なかなかあっさりとしていてdebleには物足りなかったが、女性には
ウケそう。

その後、高速に乗り込み宝塚までとんぼ返り。
夜中に睡魔にやられて、ＳＡ、ＰＡで寝ていたので、
昼３時に鹿児島を出て、着いたのが朝９時頃。

ううねむ。この３日間で2,000kmも走破。。
