Flu

I woke up this morning with the stomach flu.  I haven’t had the flu in forever but one thing hasn’t changed since then: I HATE BEING SICK, especially with the flu.  I was so sick that for only the second time in over eight years I had to miss work.  I’d take having to do the hardest, most back breaking job in the world over being sick.  Did I mention I hate being sick?  I guess I should look at the silver lining: new anti-bodies. Taco Bell

Today I saw one of the most funny things I’ve seen in my entire life.  Taco Bell has a new ad campaign in which they are advertising quesidillas as a "Tasty Choice for Lent."  I seriously almost wrecked my car when I saw that haha.

San Diego

Last weekend I went to San Diego to be a groomsman in a friend’s wedding.  Here’s a picture from that wedding.

I’m the guy sitting to the left of the groom, who along with the gentleman to my left, I’ve known since the first grade.  Not pictured is the bestman who we all meet in the ninth grade.  After all these years we’ve managed to stay in touch but this was the first time we’ve all been in the same place since high school.
It was some of the most fun I’ve had in a longtime.  And miraculously we made it through the weekend arrest free!

Caffine

Few people know this but I have a super power.  I can consume copious amounts of caffine without the slightest affect to speak of whatsoever.  I think this power was cultivated through my growing up in the 1980’s and believeing if I drank Pepsi I’d be doing my part in combating the spread of Communism.  Now the question comes, will I use this power for good or evil?  Stay tuned. Deja vu. A poignant haiku of deep sociocultural significance.

I ate at BALE.

Twice today, that’s where I ate.

Yummy deja vu.

Cellphone E-mail

In theory I can use my cellphone to send e-mails.  I’ve recieved e-mails on it so it stands to reason that I should be able to send them as well.  But after a week of messing with my phone, I still have not even the faintess clue how to do it.  Glad technology has made my life "easier".  I think I might move to Turkey; no e-mail or text messaging there. Visit to NACOS

Well I´m finally back in Hawaii, so I stopped by NACOS today for a visit.

I knew I´d forgotten alot of Japanese since I´d left here but I was suprised at just how much I´ve forgotten.  Guess I´ll have to hit the books again.

It was very good to see Shuzo-san and Michiko-san again. Continue reading

Oregon

I’m currently in Oregon visiting family.  This is a picture of my niece, Mary.  She’s going to end up being the most spoiled kid ever, so to give her some balance I’ve decided I have to be the "mean" uncle.  That look on my face isn’t a smile…it’s the stern look of an authoritarian.
