After watching the World Cup of Soccer on TV, did you like the countries of the world? I memorized the names of all kinds of foreign countries. I can write the names of about 100 countries. I will be eight years old soon. When I become nine, I’ll have them buy me a globe. The country I want to go to the most is Italy.

During my vacations from school, my head is full of soccer. I am not shy at all. They let me practice soccer with the upperclassmen. I was happy that they included my in my friend’s older brother’s group. I invited some of my classmates and we play soccer with this big older brother’s team.

I am crazy about soccer. I play soccer for an elementary school soccer club team called, “Vissel.” I practice every Thursday, after school, from 5:00-6:45. I practice as if it were a real game. We have practice even in the pouring rain. We don’t have any vacations. I’m good to go in the winter and even when it gets hot. I sweat it out.

I enjoy collecting anime cards. I have about 100 in all. I walk around with the good cards in my pocket. Every so often, I take them out of my pocket to look at them. After playing with them, I just leave them lying around, and I get scolded by my mother. I am bad at cleaning up after myself. In addition to this, I like to draw pictures.
 
 
アニメのカードを集めて遊んでいます。

My birthday is August 19. This year I will be seven years old. I like sports. I play soccer and frisbee and go swimming. I especially like soccer. I am kicking the ball around everywhere I go. I even kick the ball inside the house, and the ball hits things around the house including my family.

When I was little, my head was big and, when I went out for a walk, I would fall and get a big bump on my head. Even so, I have now become a healthy boy who loves soccer, swimming, and making people laugh.
