レストラン　Alli’s Favorite Restaurants

私の一番好きな事は食べる事です！
My favorite thing to do is to eat!

私の大好きなレストランをご紹介しましょう。
Please let me introduce my favorite restaurants.

１） Le Bistro

　この店は、ハワイカイの近くにあります。食べ物はヨーロッパ風と日本風とハワイ風のスタイルが融合されています。ほとんどのウエイターは美少年です。値段は、ちょっと高いです。二十ドルから三十ドルです。

This restaurant is close to Hawaii Kai. The food is a mix of European, Japanese, and Hawaiian styles. Most of the waiters are really handsome! The prices are a little expensive; they can range from twenty to thirty dollars.

２） Pho Minh

　この店は、マッカリーにあります。ベトナム料理です。オーナー夫妻は優しい人達です。ご夫妻には成功して欲しいと思っています。店に入って、「いつものですね！」と言います。

This restaurant is in McCully. It serves Vietnamese food. The owner couple are really nice people, so I want them to succeed. When they see Mike and me come in, they ask, “the usual?”

３） Sconee’s

　この店は、パールシティーにあります。パン屋さんです。パンプキンとカスタードの二段重ねパイがあります。それは私の大好物のパイです。きれいなパン屋ではありませんが、美味しく、地元で、人気があるので、すぐに売り切れます。

This store is in Pearl City; it’s a bakery. They have a great pumpkin-and-custard two-layer pie. That’s my favorite pie! It’s not a very pretty place, but it’s got yummy food and is pretty well-known among local people, so the pies tend to sell out quickly.

４） Ono’s

　この店は、カパフルアヴェニューにあります。ハワイアンの食べ物です。夕食時には店の外に長い行列が出来ます。食べ物はくせがあります。たとえば、四品セットで十ドルは、カルアピッグとチキンロングライスとラウラウとハウピアです。

This restaurant is on Kapahulu Avenue. It serves Hawaiian food. During dinner time, the line outside of the store can get really long. Not everyone might like the food, though. For instance, a four-choice plate for ten dollars might have kalua pig, chicken long rice, lau lau, and haupia.

取っておきの観光スポット Alli’s Less-Well-Known Tourist Spots

１） Waimanalo Beach

　このビーチのきれいな水ときれいな砂が好きです。人はあまりいません。午後四時前に行くといいです。山の影がビーチを覆います。とても幻想的です。時々、雲も覆います。

This beach has pretty water and sand. Not too many people go there. It’s better to go before 4pm, because the mountains’ shadow tends to cover the beach later on. But it’s still pretty like a fantasy beach! Sometimes the clouds cover the beach, too.

２） Lanikai Beach

　このビーチは、カイルアにあります。小さなビーチですが、水がとてもきれいです。このビーチは浅瀬ですので、水が温かいです。身体がよく浮かぶ所です。

This beach is in Kailua. The beach part is small, but the water is really nice. Since it’s so shallow, the water stays pleasantly warm; it’s a great place to just float around. Continue reading →
