２００１年９月１１日にアメリカ同時多発テロ事件が起こりました。ニューヨークのワールドトレードセンタービルに飛行機が激突。１０年後、２０１１年３月１１日に東日本大震災と大津波が発生しました。どちらも私はハワイに住んでいたので実際には体験していません。しかし誰もが心臓が震える衝撃でそれらの撮影映像を見ました。日々の中で、どんな小さなことでも、人を悲しませることをしたり言ったり、それほど悲しいことはない。無意識にそれをしていれば、嫌なことに目を向けて改めるのはより難しいのかもしれない。でも明日を信じて今を輝きたいものです。（美智子） 3/11 Day and 9/11 Day.
