遠景に先人の滝脈々と
えんけい に　せんじん の たき　みゃくみゃく と

Last year December 2015,my wife and I stayed at our Uncle’s home which overlooks the famous valley Waipio. From the top where his home is located, its impossible to see into the valley where Hiilawe waterfall exists but smaller waterfalls can be seen near the ocean. Always when I am near to this valley, near to Hiilawe it leaves me with a sense of awe and comfort.

　去年、２０１５年１２月、私達はハワイ島にある叔父の家に滞在しました。崖の上にある叔父の家からは、有名なワイピオの谷を見渡すことができます。叔父の家からは、ヒイラヴェの滝がある谷を一望する事はできませんが、海の近くあたりの小さな滝をいくつか見ることができます。私はいつもこの谷の近く、ヒイラヴェの近くに行くと、ほっとした気持ちと畏敬の念を持ちます。
