Dragon Fruit is a funny looking fruit. It’s dark pink on the outside and shaped almost like a football with scaly looking things all around it. The first time I was given one I was afraid to eat it thinking it might eat me first!

When you open the fruit, sometimes they’re white inside and sometimes purple. Both types have tiny seeds in them that are so small they can be eaten. When I tasted my first Dragon Fruit I was very surprised at how sweet it was. They are pretty juicy so you can fill up fast on them. Since my first one I have been hooked.

A down side about Dragon Fruit is that they cost so much. A two pounder can cost about $20.00. Good thing is you won’t be hungry after eating it. Soon I will take a picture of a Dragon Fruit to post here.
