Growing up, I was constantly teased for being a big comic book fan. During my childhood it was perceived as nerdy. So it’s become a bit of a tough pill for me to swallow, since it has now become widely accepted into the mainstream. Due to the success of certain movies like Iron Man or X-men. So now I have to listen to people who most likely would have teased me, talk as if they are subject matter experts. I admit it is childish of me to feel this way. But I am still a bit bitter about it.
