Rush not to tomorrow
Our lives forever intertwined
Relish today’s blessings.


People often ask me if I am excited about getting married.
I always say, “Not Really.”
This usually generates a shocked response.
I like to remind people I　am living in today.
All the excitment will come rushing to me that day.
I am in no rush because I　know we will spend the rest of our lives together.
So I want to be sure to enjoy each day.

知り合いの人達は、私に、結婚は嬉しいですかと尋ねます。
私はいつも「別に」と言います。
彼らは、たいてい、驚いた反応をします。
私は今日を生きていることを、皆に気付いてほしいのです。
その日、喜びの気持ちが押し寄せて来ます。
私達はこれからの人生をずっと一緒に過ごすので、私は急いでいません。
一日一日を、大切に、楽しく過ごしたいと思います。
