American History

We took a family trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last weekend.  The city has very rich history.  It was in Independence Hall right there in Philadelphia where America’s Declaration of Independence from England was signed and where the details of the U.S. Constitution were worked out.  We learned that Philadelphia also served as the nation’s capital at one point.  We saw the Liberty Bell too with it’s crack and all as well as where Benjamin Franklin was buried.  We ate the famous Philly cheesesteak.  It was nothing more than meat, onions, and cheese on a long piece of white bread, but it was delicious.  As a bonus, we also had the chance to see the Rocky statue and climbed the stairs of the Philadelphia Art Museum where Rocky ran up, pumped his arms in the air, and shouted the famous “Adrian.”  We didn’t do the Rocky pose, but many people around us did.  It was funny to see.
