While I was at the checkstand the other day buying a new pair of boots. A family came in line behind me. A little boy in the family saw my helmet and then started asking me 20 million questions about my motorcycle apparel. I answered all of his questions without making eye contact. Then as I was leaving he asked me if it was easy to ride with a backpack. I turned and looked at him, he had a big smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. I said, ” yeah buddy. it’s easy.” And gave him a ‘ thumbs up’ . I hope that kid gets to ride someday.
