The Wonders of Pregnancy

Pregnancy is suppose to be a beautiful and exciting time in a woman’s life, but it is not alway easy to bear all the physical changes pregnancy brings. The first part brings a terrible nausea that makes you dislike the sight of even your favorite food. The feeling goes on for so long you forget how good food tastes like. Add the feeling of constant exhaustion, and it’s a wonder how pregnant women make it out of bed everyday. When those symptoms start to lessen you start experiencing the wonders of heartburn, constipation, and gas in the second trimester. Doesn’t sound too sexy. Once you think you’ve gotten accustomed to all the symptoms, the third trimester kicks in and with it brings swollen hands and feet, difficultly breathing, and my all time favorite, backaches. In my mind the whole process was suppose to be easier than it is. I was completely wrong. As I near the end of my journey I am filled with excitement about getting back to doing the things I use to be able to do so easily like tying my shoes. But most importantly I’m excited to finally meet the person causing all my physical aches and pains. If I knew before what I know now about pregnancy, would I go through it again? For my little angel, I would do it in a heartbeat.
