Well, I finally went on a vacation. It had been long over due since I had been working without a vacation since 2007. I went to Guam, I hadn’t been there before, so I didn’t have any idea what to expect. All I knew was that I was going to have some spectacular dives. WOW! Great diving. I made 11 dives and all were great. Then the bad news, I couldn’t get back home to Hawaii. What, bad news you say, not being able to leave a tropical island for another? Well, you have to understand, a man has to earn a living to be able to take vacations like that, so the days I don’t work I don’t make money. It wasn’t all a loss though. I met some really great people and while I was “stuck” in Guam for an extra five days these great people took me on some fantastic hikes through tropical jungle, water filled caves and along the shore line on sharp lava rock. I’m glad to say I’m back home now and back to work. making money so I can take another vacation, but this time I’m not going to wait three years. Aloha!
