This weekend we were celebrating my cousin finally getting his blackbelt in jiu jitsu.  He has trained for many years and worked very hard to achieve this level.  I am so proud of what he has done.  In Hawaii there are only maybe a handful of qualified blackbelts in brazilian jiu jitsu.  Now I can proudly say my cousin is one of them.  I can only wish to be as great as he has become.  Now I will try to train under him at his classes.  He has owned a school for some time now.  Now that he has his blackbelt this will make him even more qualified to teach.  His school should show a huge increase in the number of students.  He is an excellent teacher and student.  I wish all the best for him.
