Japan Coast Guard

Yesterday I visited the Japanese Coast Guard Training Ship “Kojima”. It pulled into Honolulu on Thursday for a brief visit. I was invited on board and given a tour around the ship. It is so clean, I could not believe it. The ship is a training vessel and has around 60 cadets on it and a seasoned command to teach them. On Monday, I will give them a tour of my office and show them how the US Coast Guard conducts rescues.
